In the beginning, there was the superhit Vande Bharat Express. According to Eastern Railway sources, all the tickets for this new train running between Howrah and New Jalpaiguri on January 1 and 2 have been sold. All the seats on both the up and down sides are booked.

Meanwhile, the Railways has informed us that Bande Bharat will stop at three stations between Howrah and NJP. They are Bolpur, Maldah and Barsai in Bihar. As per the list published by Railways, the fare of the Vande Bharat Express from Howrah to NJP in Chair Car is Rs.1543. Rs2803 is the executive class fare. Aside from that, the cost of a chair car ride from Howrah to Bolpur is Rs. 628 in economy class and Rs.1150 in executive class. Howrah-Malda chair car fare Rs.929 and Rs.1753 in executive class.

Today marks the official launch of the Vande Bharat Express from Howrah station. But passenger service on the train will start on January 1. The railways opened the train seat reservation system for general passengers this morning. Since then, all the seats have started filling up fast. In the end, it is reported that all the tickets for the first two days have been sold within 24 hours.

The train will run every day of the week except Wednesday. The railways said that the price of food will be fixed along with the fare of the Bande Bharat Express. According to information provided by the Railways, a passenger named Shaunak Das has booked the first ticket of the Howrah-NJP Bandh Bharat Express on January 1.

Apart from this, during the Christmas and New Year holiday season, the demand for tickets on North Bengal-bound trains is already high at this time. Many were not able to get tickets. Many of them also chose India as a slave country. Railway officials are not surprised to see the strong demand for tickets in Bande India, despite the higher ticket prices.
