How link Aadhaar to Pan card before 31^st March, 2023

To link your Aadhaar card with your PAN card, you can follow these steps:

1. Visit the income tax e-filing website: https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/
2. Click on the “Link Aadhaar” option under the “Quick Links” section on the left-hand side of the page.
3. Enter your PAN number, Aadhaar number, and name as per Aadhaar.
4. Check the box stating “I have only the year of birth in Aadhaar card” if applicable.
5. Enter the captcha code and click on the “Link Aadhaar” button.
6. A message will appear confirming the successful linkage of Aadhaar with PAN.

Alternatively, you can also link your Aadhaar with PAN by sending an SMS to 567678 or 56161 in the format: UIDPAN<SPACE><12 digit Aadhaar number><SPACE><10 digit PAN number>.

It is important to link your Aadhaar with PAN as it is now mandatory for income tax purposes
