According to reports, Yes Bank used to provide its customers with a variety of SMS alerts based on subscriptions in addition to the required alerts. These included weekly and biweekly balance check alerts, as well as alerts for credit and debit cards. The bank claims that it has made the decision to stop offering these services right away.
In a message, Yes Bank stated: “Customers are being informed that starting on December 1, 2022, the ability to receive balance alerts by SMS will no longer be available. Any customer who has already subscribed to this SMS alert and has been receiving it will no longer be receiving it. Any customer will still be required to receive notifications, though.”
Customers may check their balance online anytime, anywhere, the bank claims, using tools like Yes Mobile, Yes Online, and Yes Robot. Through the bank’s YES online feature, a customer can personalize the SMS alert. Also be able to modify their SMS registration or number.
Customers must first sign on to Yes Online using their customer ID and password. After that, click the “Menu” link in the top left corner of the page. After that, select “Manage Profile” and then “Alerts,” then decide which account you wish to modify, activate, or de-register the alert for. Select the alert type now. Click the Save button after choosing the alert type.
