Google Pixel 8a
It is predicted that Google will reveal the Pixel 8a during the forthcoming developer conference (Google I/O 2024) on May 14. The Pixel 8a will be a toned-down version of the Pixel 8, powered by the Tensor G3 and Google AI features such as Circle to Search. Furthermore, the next Pixel 8a is expected to include a 6.1-inch 120Hz OLED display with a narrower, more consistent bezel. Moto Edge 50 Pro
Motorola is planning to introduce its latest flagship, the Edge 50 Pro with AI features, on April 3, 2024. The forthcoming smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and feature a luxurious design with a vegan leather back panel and a metal frame. According to the brand’s statement, the Moto Edge 50 Pro will have a 6.7-inch 1.5K resolution curved OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, it will have a triple-back camera setup with a 50 MP sensor and capabilities for 8K video recording. The next Mororola phone will include AI Art Magic, an AI-powered wallpaper generator, and will be the first smartphone to capture Pantone-validated colors, with the display also Pantone-validated.
OnePlus Nord CE 4
On April 1, 2024, OnePlus will launch a new smartphone in the Nord lineup, the OnePlus Nord CE 4. OnePlus has revealed that the forthcoming Nord smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, with up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The OnePlus Plus Nord CE 4 will include a 5,000 mAh battery with 100W fast charging capabilities. In addition, Nord CE 4 is rumored to have a 1.5K resolution display with a 120Hz refresh rate, UFS 3.1-based fast storage, an Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 overlay on top, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Samsung Galaxy M55
Samsung’s mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy M55, is expected to come shortly after the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55. The future M-series mobile is expected to have a plastic frame and may not be IP-rated. The Galaxy M55 will include the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, up to 8 GB of RAM, and 256 GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the phone is rumored to feature a triple camera arrangement on the back, with a 50 MP or 64 MP main sensor. The smartphone is expected to cost around Rs 30,000 and will run Android 14 with the OneUI 6.1 layer on top.
Realme GT 5 Pro
Realme is likely to launch its flagship GT 5 Pro in India soon, possibly powered by the Snapdragon 8 Generation 3. Realme GT 5 Pro, released a few months ago in China, has a metal frame and a vegan leather rear panel. In addition, the next Realme smartphone features a 5,400 mAh battery with 100W rapid charging and 50W wireless charging capability. The GT 5 Pro will have a 6.7-inch curved display and will run Android 14 with a proprietary RealmeUI 5 overlay on top.
